UNIVERSITY PROFILE

Overview

LSBU has many strengths. We're committed to creating professional opportunity for all who can benefit, and widening participation in HE. At LSBU, our students are customers. Student achievement and satisfaction is paramount. We continue to develop and improve a truly integrated framework of student support across faculties and central services. We've invested millions of pounds in our campus so you get the best possible facilities.

A real world university

Our courses are geared towards employment. LSBU graduates are consistently ranked in the top 10 for UK graduate starting salaries, so you know you'll have the best start to your career. The portfolio is up to date, attractive, relevant to employment and affordable. Our research and enterprise activities are led by their real world impact. Excellent employer and industry links ensure your qualification is as relevant to the workplace as possible and placement opportunities give you industry experience.

Location, location, location

Situated in the heart of London, you'll have access to a city famed for its diversity and culture. Our Southwark campus is close to a wealth of galleries, museums, shops, bars and music venues. LSBU has two additional campuses; LSBU at Havering and LSBU at Whipps Cross, where the Faculty of Health & Social Care run programmes.

What's on Offer

LSBU offers courses at all levels with various study patterns and, in most cases, the option to study full-time or part-time. There are often opportunities to progress from one level to another, or have credit gained at other institutions put towards an LSBU award. We encourage applications from a wide range of applicants and have many part-time and mature students studying within the university.
