Overview

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is one of the world’s leading centres of music and dance education, striving to reinvent its art forms by combining innovative and fresh ideas with the best of past traditions.

Trinity Laban provides specialist education of the highest international quality. Its innovative course provision, exciting performances and groundbreaking education, community and social inclusion work make the institution a leader in the advancement of creative artistic practice.

The Conservatoire comprises two Faculties, both acknowledged as world leaders in their respective fields – the Music Faculty (previously called ‘Trinity College of Music’) in Greenwich and the Dance Faculty (previously called ‘Laban’) which is based close by in Deptford.

Students study in world-class facilities in landmark buildings in South East London as part of an international community of over 1,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Over 70 different countries are represented at Trinity Laban, creating a vibrant atmosphere and introducing new ideas and viewpoints. Trinity Laban ranked first for dance in the Guardian Higher Education/University League Tables 2011 and ranked the highest for student satisfaction in the UK National Student Survey 2009.

Trinity Laban is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). All degrees offered by the institution are validated by City University London.
