The University of Worcester's academic structure is based around departments, ensuring students gain a high level of support from named tutors and staff. The modern purpose built facilities include wireless networked campus, Sports Hall, industry standard Digital Arts Centre, Performance & Drama Centre, and an excellent library at the heart of the campus.

The University of Worcester excels at sport and has the only mobile 3D motion analysis laboratory in Europe. Its scientists have worked with the England Cricket Board and other top men and women to assess their sporting techniques. The flexible undergraduate modular scheme offers students a choice of study options enabling them to tailor their courses to meet their individual needs.

At postgraduate level, students can take advantage of the various research centres on campus, such as the National Pollen & Aerobiology Research Unit and the Centre for Research into Early Childhood.
