Founded in 1967, the University of Stirling is one of Scotland’s top universities. The University is based on three campuses (Stirling, Inverness and Stornoway) and has much to offer students of all backgrounds and interests. With strong foundations in teaching and research, the University provides its multi-nation student community with uniquely flexible learning opportunities. All campuses support a range of study activities from CPD courses to first degree, Honours, Master's programmes and Research Degrees.
The student population of around 11,500 is drawn from across the UK and also includes a large international community.

The Campuses
Stirling
The Stirling campus is a large, single-site campus just outside the historic city of Stirling, the University is renowned for having one of the most stunning locations in Europe.
The University's campus provides an ideal study environment and is home to a vibrant, close-knit community where it is easy to settle in, make friends and get involved.
Highland - Inverness
The Highland campus is purpose built and situated in the Centre for Health Science adjacent to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. Students in Inverness study Nursing & Midwifery.
Western Isles - Stornoway
The Western Isles campus is based in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. The campus consists of purpose-built teaching accommodation within the Western Isles Hospital. Teaching accommodation is enhanced by the provision of library services and a range of information and communication technologies. Students in Stornoway study nursing & midwifery.
