Value of scholarship £1,750 and free meals (Scholarships), and £1,250 (Exhibitions)

Eligibility criteria Balliol College wishes to appoint two Jowett Senior Scholars. The scholarships are open to current graduates of the College, who are reading or intend to read for a DPhil. Applicants will be in their first or second year of DPhil work, or in their second year of MPhil study; first year MPhil students are not encouraged to apply. The scholarships will be awarded for a maximum of two years, and will have the value of £1,750 per annum plus free meals and some High Table dining rights. There will also be Jowett Exhibitions, up to the value of £1,250 each for candidates who are runners up for the Jowett Senior Scholarships. The Exhibitions are tenable for one year only.
