Review Title: Looking after each other...
I loved the fact that people at the university are very friendly and look after each other very well. Students, Academic or non-Academic staffs, all of them are very close to each other. It could be because the University is located in middle of nowhere and they only have themselves. I loved the location of the University, by the way. It is located in a beautiful countryside. You can concentrate on studying very well. But, don't worry, you never get bord surprisingly. There are always something going on to entertain you; a number of trips, parties, concerts, talks or discussion with tea and cakes. I enjoyed the internatioanl food parties a lot. Review Title: So much to do in a small town!
I am in my first year but I am loving it here! The lectures are (mostly!) very interesting and life in general is great. Everyone is incredibly friendly, and there is always something going on, even though St Andrews is small. Plus, the town is incredibly beautful and picturesque. Read full Politics course review »
Review Title: Iv'e had the time of my life! And Iv'e never felt this way before or since!
Coming from london i thought that lincoln would be a bit of a culture shock! It was, it was a small town but it was what i'd needed growing up in london, you can get used to the hustle and bustle and going out and never meeting the same person twice.
Lincoln was a wonderful city (although i still laugh when anyone says "ducky") and i am so so glad i went. The pubs and clubs are good, but you know everyone in them. i made some excellent friends and i would love to do it all again. The facilities at the university were fab and i've heard that since i have left they are getting better and better. You can't go wrong going to lincoln. Read full Politics course review »
Review Title: Fundee! Serious FuN!
I never want to leave! In 3rd year now and find that I rarely want to go back home even during summer! There is so much to do, we have officially the best Students' Union in Scotland, the people are the friendliest plus there's a huge Irish contingency! Home from Home! Review Title: You will regret it if you don't come to Cardiff!
Cardiff is simply brilliant. Everything about the university itself is top notch - The teaching, the facilities and the support recieved from tutors. In addition the student union is fantastic. The night club - solus- is where i have spent the best nights out while ive been here. Attatched to the union is the great hall which hosts loads of bands. There are plenty of societies and sports clubs, all of which are friendly and welcoming. The halls of residence are all comfortable, while Cathays - the area where student housing is situated is an area almost exclusively populated by students which means you always bump into someone you know. The town is also great. Good shops, clubs and pubs, with the millenium stadium hosting massive sporting evernts, and the arena hosting massive bands. The parks (of which you can take your pick from at least 3 within 10 minutes from the university) are all beautiful. In addition you have the up and coming bay area, which has restaurants, the opera house, bars, clubs and boat trips. The past three years have certainly been the best of my life! Review Title: A great place to study and to see bands
It's an amazing place with a great big square at the centre of the campus where everyone hangs out a lunchtime. It has grounds with a large lake as well as the clear glass edifice that is the Sainsbury's Art Centre home to priceless works of art including sculptures by Henry Moore. The University's motto is "Do Different" and everyone there seems to do just that. It's a very accepting place and not at all cliquey. And it gets the best bands of any Uni in the UK.
