Review Title: "Most populuar" university for a reason
Manchester is a top city - ideal for those coming from smaller cities like me because it feels so big at first, and there's lots going on.

University life was great throughout my three years there.

My best advice would be to enjoy it while it lasts because it goes so quickly. And definitely live in halls in Owens Park in Fallowfield. With so many bars and takeaways, it's student heaven.

Review Title: My University
I remember well the weeks spent wading through heaps of prospectuses, each one telling you that they rise above all others. I remember thinking to myself, will I ever find a university that will suit me? After narrowing down my list to just 5 universities it was finally the exciting and nerve-racking time to begin my visits. I visited such universities as Exeter and Oxford Brookes, each one different in style and approach yet both as grand and thus almost scary. The time came for me to visit Surrey. Tucked away and surrounded by countryside, I knew that this was the university for me as soon as my car pulled into the picturesque yet subtle entrance. Words cannot even begin to describe the welcome that I received, both from staff and current students. All of my nerves and anxiousness left me and I suddenly had an overpowering feeling of being at home.
August 19th came and with it, all feeling of hope and desperation. After a grooling week leading up, the outcome was as i had hoped, University of Surrey 'here I come!'.
Freshers week was as I had expected and more, all the time things to do and places to visit. My course seemed hard at first but after settling in and meeting my fellow peers it suddenly seemed achievable.
I write now as I come to the end of my first year. I really wouldn't have changed a thing about it. The grounds may be small compared with other universities, take Loughborough for example, but the advantage is that it only ever really takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get to a lecture from anywhere on campus. There is also the new sports gym which has only recently opened, offering a huge range of activities at a very cheap price. I also must not forget to add that Rubix (the university's student union) is second to none, and holds many of my favourite university's moments.
If I were to explain my whole university experience, I could probably babble on for at least another thousand words so I really do hope that this short snippet of my life at the University of Surrey is enough to convince you that this really is a wonderful university. I would definitely recommend this university to all.
For those students coming here in October, I do recommend that you purchase a freshers band in advance of your arrival, as the evening events do get booked up rather quickly. The only other advice that I can give is that nerves and anxiety will get you nowhere in life, I have always lived by the thought that fear is the enemy of progression. There really is no need to be scared, this university is so friendly and welcoming that you will feel at home right away. Work hard and choose wisely, and you can be sure that with the university of Surrey you will not be disappointed.

Review Title: Excellent and interesting course with amazing staff and resources!
The uni experience is great. King's is such a prestigious university and the people you meet there are so diverse you learn so much from not only your lecturers but from your peers too.
The course is really interesting and the staff and resources available are incredible. The staff support you really well and are very approachable and easy to contact.
The overall feel of the university is very welcoming and the resources available are fantastic. Studying at the Maughan Library was a great experience, it is such a famous library and is a great place to revise and finish off those assignments.

King's College London is in a great location and is one of the most respected universities not only in England but in the world. You'll definitely have a great experience there.
If you want to study in London, definitely consider King's College London because of it's excellence in teaching and support.

Review Title: My review
Yes, I would recommend it to others as it is lots of fun and full of exciting and new opportunities. The advice I would give would be not to worry about getting too much, learn how to keep on top of it, don't get distracted by nights out and learn how to look after your money!

Review Title: Leave your preconceptions at the door
Coming from a state school in the north west of England I never considered Oxford Uni. I knew nobody who had been there and thought it wasn't for me. After being convinced to go for an interview my mind was made up - if the actual course was half as enjoyable as the interview I knew I would love it. I also met other interviewees who were, to my surprise, nice and normal and without snobbery.

Review Title: Fantastic University and diverse course
I loved everything about my University. The course I studied was diverse so you are allowed to choose which areas of English you are particularly interested in to focus on. It is worthwhile attempting to manage your workload in advance of essays. In periods you are not busy, prepare for upcoming essays by doing the extra reading but ensure that you have a balanced work / fun ethic.

Review Title: Just amazing
Leeds uni is amazing. I still love the fact that I can call this city home now! It's a vibrant city with every kind of pub, club and bar, great shopping, loads of secret studenty places that you'll find as you go along, amazing music scene... ahh :D

As for uni life, it's been easy to make friends here as there's just so many students in Leeds. There's Leeds Uni, Met (rivalry!), Trinity, and the colleges of art, music and tech all in one place so the number of students is massive, and its also reflected in the shops with loads of places doing student discount and good prices on food, especially useful for a drunken night out where you just *need* fried chicken (you WILL eat at Flames opposite the parkinson steps on many a pub crawl), or even the thursday night curry night that some of the pubs do, curry and a pint for £5 can't be a bad thing :).

Ok best uni advice given to me which is so true... don't try and force relationships, you *will* make friends naturally over time. Just remember even if it seems scary when you don't know anyone at first, everyone is in the same boat. Oh yeh and freshers week is not an accurate reflection of uni life, so if you don't enjoy it/feel overwhelmed it will get better :) of course if you do enjoy getting really drunk for 2 weeks with your new flatmates then even better! More advice, if get stuck with the flatmate from hell, just try to see the funny side... :) you will definitely meet more cool people if you just knock doors in your block in the first few days. Be brave, it's only freshers week that you'll ever be able to talk to strangers and it be totally normal!
