Review Title: If carling made universities it would be UCLAN !!
Going to Uclan was so scary and in my 1st year I did not acheive what I wanted now completing my 2nd year I have gon e from a 3rd to a 2:1 ! The uni does so much to help you out and the people I have met are amazing . I have worked my way up through uni by volunteering and also paid work in the SU ! it's an amazing Uni and any body will tell you the same. I am going on placement this year and getting the expeirience I need . Uclan is a great way to get your foot in the door and the teachers are there to help un like bigger universities where you are just a number. I feel valued and with M & M , Futures , Wiser and Flying start to name but a few of the services offered to you it really is an amazing place to be !

Review Title: UniS - a fantastic place for work and play!!
University life is an absolute must!! It's a great way to first step out into the world and learn to be fully independent, whilst still having structure and a support network.
UniS offers a fantastic range of activities, support and courses all of which set on an entirely campus based site. Being campus based is fantastic as it means that everything is right there. Campus is really nice, being really green with a lot of open spaces and trees and event a lake!
It's also in a really good location with Tesco (24hrs) a 10 min walk away. The station is 5 mins away (30-40 mins to London) and the town a 10 min walk - everything you could need within easy distance.

Review Title: The place where old people go to die...
One thing I remember somebody first saying to me with regards to Bournemouth was that it was where old people went to die. Now if I am honest there is no way I have ever seen an abundance of old people in Bournemouth. Ever. But the one main drawing point for Bournemouth itself, lets me honest, is the beach. Unfortunately us students aren't there for much of the summer, but we get glimpses and its definitely worth it.

Some people want to big city experience, and yes while Bournemouth is only a town, it still has a lot to offer. It still has a good shopping experience, but if you get desperate, there is Poole and Southampton only a short train ride away, and there are still great nights out to be had.

Bournemouth's new tag of "No. 1 New University" seems to have brought a lot of interest to the uni, and in my opinion it lives up to its name. The great thing about Bournemouth Uni is that it is an old Polytechnic, and because of that the uni provides invaluable life skills, and looks at providing you the skills needed to go into industry alongside the knowledge allowing you to implement what they teach.

Just remember when going to uni, to do it for you and no one else. Don't go and do a certain type of course because you friends are doing something similar and because you don't want to stand out for doing something different. Just do something you enjoy and even if you do decide half way through that perhaps you would like to try something else, it doesn't matter, because the world is your oyster and you can do whatever you want with it!

Review Title: Present Student
I really like the uni and the area is nice. However, if you are after the BIG student night life, this may not be the uni for you. Being based in Cheltenham, there are only a few nightclubs but with any new found freinds, its always a laugh!
