- Assessment method
- The methods of assessment are coursework and formal examinations, which take place in May. Many courses will include continuous assessment and some or all of the work during the course will count towards the final mark. Students achieving the more than 50 per cent average on the taught modules will progress to the MSc dissertation project that will be conducted under close supervision during the summer term, from June to August. Successful completion of the project will lead to the award of MSc in Aerospace Engineering.
- Entry requirements
- BEng degree (minimum 2.2 or equivalent) in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. Applicants whose first language is not English will need to demonstrate proficiency. The minimum requirements are IELTS 6.5, TOEFL (CBT) 243, TOEFL (written test). Each application is individually assessed; you are recommended to write for guidance in specific cases.
