Modules: Examination and/or coursework. Research project: dissertation and oral examination. The pass mark for credit in all cases is 50% and for the taught modules a 40% minimum performance level is required.

Honours degree in engineering or physical sciences; other academic or professional qualifications supplemented by appropriate industrial experience will be considered individually.
