- The aim of the study days are to provide practitioners with the theoretical knowledge base to inform practice and provide ongoing professional development in the management of the care of vulnerable people. This client group comprises a range of individuals and may include older adults, those with an intellectual impairment or socially disadvantaged groups. The day will address a range of issues that may face all of these groups and will also address their specific needs. The day is aimed at practitioners in any care setting and will look at the prevention, management and support of clients and carers suffering from abuse and neglect.
