Degree Subject Intro: Medicine
A medical degree requires five years at university, then several more of on-the-job training with patients. Your first two years will be spent developing basic diagnosis and treatment skills and learning as much as you can about the human body. Your practical hospital experience begins in year three, year four will probably cover cardio-renal, oncology, general psychiatry and respiratory medicine, while your fifth year includes paediatrics, A&E, general practice, obstetrics and gynaecology.

- The Worst
- Honestly, i've been to many universities and sussex has got to the worst. The lectures are boring. On campus life is crap. The only decent thing is the night life of Brighton and even that doesn't compare to London

- Newcastle is amazing-apart from the weather
- I'm having a great time here. Medicine is a long course but I'm loving living in Newcastle. The campus is so close to the city centre, as are the major areas where students live. The people up here are generally really friendly and it's pretty cheap!...
