Degree Subject Intro: Architectural History
Architecture is both an art and a science, and draws upon aspects of technology, social sciences, politics and history whether you're designing and constructing new buildings or conserving existing structures.
For such a skilled profession, there is a minimum of seven years training, including two years professional experience in an architects' office with further examination. Most schools of architecture require a portfolio of sketches and you should be able to draw freehand and have a good understanding of mathematics.
