Degree Subject Intro: Agriculture
Issues like genetically modified and organic crops, disease epidemics and climate change make agriculture a dynamic area of study. It covers a number of disciplines, including biology, chemistry and environment studies, alongside aspects of food science, technology, economics and management. You will be expected to conduct detailed research, keep careful track of farming developments and understand professional codes of conduct.
Graduates will typically wish to work in farm management, research or advisory work. Alternatively, they might become involved in selling or marketing agricultural.
