- A three-year full-time modular programme, 50 per cent practice-based. The first year is a foundation year to develop the practical skills and applied theoretical knowledge. There will also be the opportunity to experience other aspects such as mental health, learning disability, child and maternity care. There are six modules in the second and third years. There will also be the opportunity to arrange a self financed elective either locally or abroad. In addition, there are opportunities for shared learning with other branches and professional groups. Graduates become Registered Nurses.
