Access and foundation Subject Intro: Philosophy
Philosophy asks the biggest questions. Expect to study major thinkers like Plato, Aristotle, Descartes and Kant and to contemplate metaphysics, morality, rationality, and ethics. You will learn to formulate, debate and apply opinions. Your powers of logical reasoning will be tested, as will your ability to communicate them articulately.
The skills developed by philosophy students in becoming thoughtful, rational graduates and the sheer breadth of knowledge you will develop is attractive to several professions, including journalism, information management and publishing.
