Access and foundation Subject Intro: Fashion Design

Most fashion degrees require three or four years preceded by a foundation course and ideally you'll be creative, innovative and have an eye for detail. You'll be taught pattern cutting, illustration, promotion sourcing and sampling, construction, textiles and industry awareness as well as the technical skills needed to work with different materials.

A few graduates go on to be designers, but competition is fierce. Others find employment in fashion design companies or in industries connected to the fashion world, such as stylists or consultants.

Find Fashion Design Access and foundation courses in the UK and read independent student reviews of Fashion Design Access and foundation courses (including reviews of Student Unions, Uni Facilities, Uni eye candy and watch Uni videos!) by taking a step-by-step search through our Fashion Design Access and foundation course list.

theres not much to do in epsom. Pretty boring if you want a student lifestyle. You make your own fun to be honest. People are nice, but can be clicky - good uni for fashion tho

A degree recognised by industry which teaches you what you really need to know in the industry
Rating:
Studying at Nottingham Trent has the best of both worlds with the city very close to university. I would highly recommend studying at NTU. But i would recommend you choose NTU based on the course above anything else.
