Review Title: Great Course, Great Uni
The course improved both my creative and practical skills. It's well structured and has numerous people there to talk to, should you run into difficulties. It's a very time consuming course but worth the dedication.

Review Title: Sheffield is the place to come....
Sheffield is a great place to live, work and play. The city is full of good pubs and clubs aswell as shops and things to do. It literally takes 20 mins or so on tram to get to a massive shopping centre and entertainment centre. With an arena and two football clubs aswell as plenty more, you'll never be bored!

Review Title: studying at kent?
ok.. Kent uni is THE ideal uni for those thriving for a campus experience. u know, one of those u see in movies. i have thoroughly enjoyed it. its big enough with over 18,000 students to meet some one new everyday, and small enough to bump into people u know all the time. Academically speaking, its also very good. I have been challenged in many ways and I feel very confident in my field of study. Town is also wkd, cute and full of character. The night life, for some one like me (coming from London) isnt as varied as i want it to be, but tht means mad house parties. Kent is also excellent for sports! If I ever had to go through this all over again, I would have defo picked kent!
PEACE :)

Review Title: hard work but flexible
If you really commit with your academic development and you expect that your life in the university would be focused in hard work, then you should consider this university. It is not about parties and social life, although the people is great.

Review Title: Oxford Brookes Architecture Review
Don't think that because it's the second university in Oxford you don't have as much on offer as someone at the main uni would have. Brookes is still very central to the city and it also shares most of the main Oxford Uni buildings including libraries etc. The Bodlian Library is one of the largest in the country and is open to Oxford Uni and Brookes students.
If you are a prospective architecture student, i'd advise living near the town centre/main campus because if you ever need to restock on supplies of get quick photos for your portfolio, you can just take a short walk and have everything available to you.

Review Title: Architecture at LJMU!
I am enjoying my University experience immensely, our year has a tight bond, we go out together and celebrate in a huge group. Everyone on our course are also good friends with students in the above years and first year as we celebrate once a year by organizing a Ball. We Have started our own Architecture Society, the first one LJMU have ever had and are planning to run our own materials and stationary shop here in our new Art and Design Academy. The society will allow us to have our voices heard in order to improve our course and the way it is structured.
I would recommend our Uni to everyone planning on doing Architecture, Fine Art, Photography, Music and Graphics because we have the best facilities in the area and all the staff are very down to earth and supportive. The workshop has any RM machine you could possibly need and friendly on hand help when ever you need it. We also have advanced machinery such as the laser cutter which is quick and easy to use for model making in Architecture.
The Tutors on our course are extremely helpful, they give great constructive criticism and support you throughout the whole of the year. They told us at the beginning of the year that it would be incredibly difficult to fail this course and that they would prevent it as much as they could. The way to make the most of this is to ask them for their advice and opinion in order to make a great impression, but also to create a tutor - student bond which will be useful in later years!
The most important piece of advice I would give to any prospective student looking at attending LJMU is to research into the structure of the course and the marking scheme because this will be how you will be assessed for the next three years and you should know and understand the system so you know if it will suit you and the way you work!
